Happy Saturday everyone! So today I am bringing you a bit of a summer vibing haul from a new company I have just discovered. As I am sat here writing this, it is chucking it down – standard England right? But I have to say as much as I love the sunny weather, it was getting very sticky and humid here so I think we needed the rain to finally clear the air, ready for some more sunshine next week.
So I’m not sure what it is, that has been drawing me to pink at the moment but everything baby pink, or even Barbie pink; I have been drawn to. So I have brought to you some of my new pink goods for summer. The first thing I chose was this pink mesh off the shoulder bodysuit. I have loved off the shoulder items for quite a while now, and this ruched mesh fabric is really in right now and I kept thinking I wanted to try it out for myself.
I got this bodysuit in a size medium, and I would say it was true to size. If you are conscious about it been a little too revealing; I would say just size up, although it does have a drawstring in which you can make tighter and of course you can always use my old trick of a safety pin.
The bodysuit is very good quality, very thick on the body section, which is great as an item like this doesn’t really allow for a bra, but I felt very comfortable and concealed in this.
The arms are not too tight, they are just right, and I love the little frill detail across the top of the arms, I think this just ads a little bit of something extra to the top and makes it a bit different.
The next item I chose was this slant shoulder tie striped shirt. Again I think it was the unusual shoulder cut that made me go for this item, I feel like this can go with anything, it goes great with denim shorts like I have on, but I also think this could work really well with a smart pair or trousers or a skirt for work. I also got this in a size medium, and this shirt it definitely true to size.
This piece gives me slightly Zara vibes actually, and it is such good quality for the price; you would think it would have a much higher price point! I think I will definitely be getting my wear out of this piece over the summer months. In fact it’s just what you want for this time of year, as it’s so cool to wear yet looks really sophisticated and put-together. I think they also had this in a white and blue colour-way too, which I am trying to stop myself from purchasing!
