As much as I hate the cold miserable weather at this time of year, and I could easily hibernate at the best of times. I have to say I have noticed the air is getting warmer again, the sun is making the odd appearance and I’m back to looking forward to leaving the house – this can only mean one thing right? Spring is finally on its way.

I’ve been a fan of Femme Luxe Finery for a while now and I was kindly gifted a few pieces from their latest collection and I have styled them up to show you how these pieces can be a new staple in your wardrobe.
As most of you will already know, the colour black has a strong connection with my wardrobe and I don’t think you can ever go wrong with a little black dress. But recently I’ve been loving rustic colours and even found myself drawn to a few printed pieces. So I’ve tried to include a nice mix in this haul so you can see how versatile Femme Luxe Finery is; no matter what your style.
First I picked up this gorgeous Rust High Neck Ribbed Jumpsuit – anything ribbed I love at the moment, I feel like it can give something plain and simple, a real luxury edge to it.
I have style it here with some simple black heels and a small clutch bag.
I think this could work great with an oversized camel coat and mid heels for a girly shopping trip or brunch date, you know when you want to look like you’ve made an effort but you haven’t spent the entire morning getting ready.
I can also picture this as an office work vibe – depending where you work of course but I think it’s a very versatile piece. The fabric is very good quality, its thick enough for you not to be able to see through it, but it’s not something that’s going to make you boil up inside. Perfect for this sunny weather we’re having right now.
Next I chose this Black One Shoulder Ruched Slinky Midi Dress. I haven’t owned a one shoulder dress for years, and I’d forgot just how elegant and flattering they can look, and it just gives that simple black dress, a bit of something new.
Here I’ve styled this with a simple black bag and heels, and I don’t think this picture does the dress its full justice, its very figure hugging but the ruched material makes it ideal to hide those undesirable bits. It’s perfect for a night out on the town or a civilised dinner and drinks kind of evening – no matter how much you eat, this one’s still going to look great by the end of the evening. What more could you want?
They also do this dress in a few different colours, the red one also caught my eye. In fact they have a great collection of mini dresses and midi dresses in stock at the moment, so definitely worth checking them out.
Like everyone else right now I’m totally obsessed with snake print and this Animal Snake Print Biker Jacket I knew I’d get my wear out of. Whether I fancy it as a statement jacket for work, a day out shopping with some chunky trainers or thrown on with a pair of heels and some vinyl leggings, you can’t get much more versatile than this.
Last but not least I picked up this Rust Cold Shoulder Long Sleeve Jumpsuit and I absolutely love it, I’ve been a huge fan of the loungewear trend over the winter and this just takes loungewear to one more level, it’s warm, comfy, stylish and can be dressed up or down whatever the occasion.
The cold shoulder style makes it a perfect piece to transition into spring with. Femme Luxe Finery actually had a great range of jumpsuits/lounge suits, and a lot of dresses! so definitely check them out as they will continue to be a wardrobe essential over the next few months I’m sure.
